As a public service,  the Llano County Public Policy Forum will post all campaign statements submitted by any candidate running for public office within the County of Llano in a run-off election or General Election regardless of political party. Candidate statements will remain posted until elections are over so that voters may refer to them during the election period. A special website page, “Candidate Forum,” has been set up for this purpose.

Opinion polls will be conducted throughout the campaign as well and posted on the Candidate Forum page. This is an excellent chance for all citizens to get directly involved in the election process but making their sentiments known and becoming as fully informed as to the background and qualifications of the candidates as never before.

The Llano County Public Policy Forum believes that by offering this public service the citizens of Llano County and its subdivisions will be better informed citizenry as to the candidates and issues at stake in the forthcoming elections. It will not, however, participate or intervene in political campaigns for or against candidates. The information contained herein is offered solely as a means to educate the public and to foster public discussion of the candidates.

The Llano County Public Policy Forum is a non-profit, non-partisan tax-exempt organization. It is supported solely by membership dues and donations.
